 The Friends of Marie Drake Planetarium

  Invite you to join us!

     The Planetarium is a unique Juneau resource. It allows us to model the sky
     anytime, even when the weather is miserable! It has a 30 foot domed
     ceiling and is equipped with many projectors in addition to the stars
     and planets.

     The Planetarium is located on Glacier Highway in the Marie Drake Middle
     School complex, behind the playing field. Programs are presented
     throughout the year by the Friends of the Marie Drake Planetarium.

     It is open to the public Tuesday nights from 6 PM - 7 PM. Come see the stars
      and learn the planets. On the last Tuesday of the month we have a special Event.

     You are welcome to join us in creating these programs! We are all
     volunteers.

     Under a 30-foot starry dome, planetarium volunteers 'alter time and bend it to our will'.
